General questions about online counselling

At the Caritas social counselling centre we are happy to help in acute emergencies. We advise you on social legal claims and support you in making an application. If necessary, we refer you to other agencies that can also support you in your emergency situation.

No, the counsellors at our social counselling centres will discuss your exact current situation with you and decide whether and how Caritas can provide support.

You can contact the counsellors via instant chat, secure mail counselling or appointment request.
If you enter your email address when registering, you will receive notifications to your email address when there is something new (e.g. an appointment confirmation or when there is a new message in your inbox). If you do not want to enter an e-mail address, you can choose a user name. Attention: You will not receive any notifications by e-mail and you will have to remember the link (the address) of the page or mark it as a favourite so that you can find your way back to your account.

You will be notified by mail about replies or changes of dates. If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new password using the password reset function. This way you can continue to use your account with all previous messages and documents.

After registering, you can choose a suggested appointment for video or telephone counselling. This must then be confirmed by our counsellors. You then upload the required documents and receive a link in good time before the appointment. This will give you access to the counselling.
